Collierville is an incorporated town located in Shelby County, a suburb located outside Memphis. This family-friendly town's population was 48,655 in the 2014 census. From large houses to smaller, older properties in the heart of this historic town, plus the considerable retail expansion areas, Collierville has it all. Several industries, notably Pepsi, Carrier, and the Fed/Ex IT Center are all located south of Poplar Avenue.
Collierville's traditional destination for visitors is the Historic Square in the center of downtown. This quaint shopping destination boasts trendy shops, fun eateries, and a tree-lined park, all overlooking the old train depot from which the town grew. Fair on the Square takes place every May on the Square. Collierville's Farmer's Market is located just off the Town Square.
Collierville's public school system consists of six elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school. There are also several notable private schools. The area has multiple state-of- the-art sports complexes, fishing areas, bike trails, sprinkler parks, and entertainment facilitiy, the Harrell Theater, and much, much more. Collierville provides tons of spacious shopping centers, a Baptist Hospital, and many churches of varied denominations.
